Racial Stereotypes and Age Concepts in an emailA business letter should not contain words that evoke racial discrimination or politically incorrect words. Racial stereotypes include words such as negro, colored, black, orientaletc. And, one must also carefully choose words related to aging concepts. a good email etiquette include replacing the words like old, aged, with words like senior, or elder.
While some have developed from old concepts that were in turn based on real truths about that group, many of these are overexaggerated, and most stereotypes are based on xenophobia, ignorance or jealousy rather than any fact.
Stereotypes of Rottweilers are that they are nasty, bossy, vicious dogs. They were popular in the 80's 90's and were bred badly by gang culture as a status dog. Often used by drug dealers to hide drugs under their collars which only the owner could retrieve news for the police. The Rotty originates from Germany and was used as a cattle herding dog and as a guard dog for the cattle and owner when travelling back and fore to market. I own a 5 month old Rottweiller, my dog has not displayed any of the stereotypes associated with the breed. He is very friendly and even though he is still in the playful puppy stage has been very easy to train. He is very gentle and protective over my young family, and is very sociable with other dogs. My belief, on any breed of dog, depends on how the owner trains and treats the dog. A dog is an animal and no matter how loyal and obedient your dog is they are still ANIMALS and run on instinct, any dog could hurt you so make sure you're top of "the pack" from the start when owning any dog.
There are quite a few, and as an Episcopalian myself I have my opinions on which ones seem more true than not. Historically Episcopalians are often seen as "God's Frozen Chosen": wealthier and better educated than most, formal in both worship in social interactions, and often of English descent. Almost always they were seen as "WASPs" (white Anglo-Saxon Protestant). Starting in the 1960s the Episcopal Church became increasingly seen as the most politically/socially progressive of the mainline Protestant churches (excluding Unitarians, who had arguably departed Christianity altogether by the end of the 60s when it merged into the UUA). Episcopalians were the first mainline Protestants to ordain women and gay priests. This new stereotype of progressivism added onto (rather than outright replacing) the old stereotypes of wealth and social elitism...thus today's average Episcopalian might have a higher than average income and education, a conservative appearance and manner, yet have progressive views that might surprise.

Um...Well..you know...like saying, "Hey, that person is old, they must be boring. Or, "Hey, that person is old they must be mean."
No, not all stereotypes are correct. Not all Indians like curry, not all blondes are dumb, not all footballers are wimps who can't handle the pain, not all 'emos' self-harm, and not all chavs go around terrorizing old women.
