Why is it illegal to be in public naked?

It is thought that exposing ones body to anouther is a "sin", so therefore, many think it should not be allowed in public. It mostly about the fact that not everyone wants to see anouther persons body - hence it "distrubing the peace". This is a very controversial matter, but the conflict is that some say it is natural, and some say that your body should be reserved to your significant other. It is also thought that sexy fit bodies are good to look at. The main issue that I see with public nudity is that it is not much fun to see fat people nude. Other than that it is totally a natural thing.

What did Carl Jung mean by collective unconsciousness?

The Collective Unconscious is term and concept popularized by psychologist Carl Jung, considered a part of analytical psychology. Jung called it "a reservoir of the experiences of our species."In other words, each person has an individual "psychology" and also a group or shared "psychology" that is made up of the combined shared experiences of humans. This encompasses everything from science to religion and philosophy. Jung believed that individual psychology influences the individual while the collective unconscious influences the whole group. The influence may not be on a level perceived by the group, but it is non the less a real force in his view. You can read more about these views in Jung's work Psychological Types.
