She might be shy to discuss this openly with her peers,she would have to talk with someone she trust.Her self esteem might go down as she is now not so sure of herself &her peers might not be going through certain stages as her

I believe self confidence means the measure of trusts one has regarding what he/she is cabable of accomplishing. Self confidence has to do with how "you" see and regard yourself as appose to self esteem which deals with how you think "others" see and regard yourself.

For some, nothing. People who generally have a sunny disposition and have already developed confidence usually will not succumb to the issues that puberty brings. If they are confused by the onset, they may simply ask their parents or a teacher. On the other hand, younger people who may be self conscious can introvert those feelings and perhaps never seek help concerning puberty.

If you haven't hit puberty then you most likely don't need to use a condom.
Because dating in sixth grade is still very young, it is more than likely a confidence boost more than a meaningful relationship. In that regard, yes, dating in sixth grade does raise self-esteem. However, to date purely to feel better about oneself is not recommended, as this is like using those relationships as a gateway into actual, meaningful ones. Relationships and dating should be taken seriously enough to know that it can be a fun, confidence boosting thing, but when done too young, it doesn't mean as much. It is more than likely better to just wait.
