We human beings are social animals. We have adapted to living in groups and cooperating with our fellow humans on projects of mutual interest. When we are in a group we want to be accepted by that group, and we know that we are more likely to be accepted if we agree with any prevalent opinion of that group.
Because it can be very hard and stressful so it makes life easier to just give in. Also sometimes it can feel like your friends will ditch you if you don't do as they say and you don't want to be seen as a chicken or whatever. Oh and because there will be pizza :D
