Feral children suffer a very large language disability if left on their own for too long. Some younger children may be able to improve their language skills considerably with therapy. Ivan Mishukov, a 6-year-old boy who lived with stray dogs for 2 years, still remembered how to speak Russian and was able to go to school following his discovery. The only documented case of a feral child who learned to read and write, however, is Marie-Angelique Memmie Le Blanc of France - who even grew up to be very wealthy. For the most part, though, these children are not able to make up for the severe lack of social interaction required to form sophisticated human language skills. The deprivation from human communication during the crucial years of their development leaves a large impact on their ability to learn human languages when rehabilitated. Instead, feral children raised by animals tend to adopt the habits and communication style of the animals they lived with. They may bark, chatter, bite, crawl, and otherwise imitate what they grew up with.
I sometimes "acted" spoiled, but I didn't always get what I wanted.
If a child is statemented, it means the child has been identified as having special educational needs. The categories can vary for every child, but these would include a child with medical/self help/learning/behaviour/attention and concentration/language/social problems. Usually, lots of different professionals are asked to provide information about the child and their difficulties. If the needs of the child are more significant than children of their age, they will be provided with a statement. This is a legal document which describes the child's difficulties, how they should be catered for in school, and what targets and additional help needs to be provided.
It depends on the child and the parent, but the person who wrote this is meaning, personal emotions and words that may make the child feel heartbroken, important words... I reckon the closest is the mother as she will probably understand the child the most, relate to the same feelings and comfort the child through difficulties.
Some signs of a maladjusted child may include difficulty forming relationships, frequent aggressive or antisocial behavior, poor academic performance, and unusual emotional responses. It is important to seek guidance from a mental health professional or counselor to properly assess and support the child's needs.
