If we're talking IQ there will be a dispute over this. Americans will argue that their IQ is supposedly higher on average by a couple points. However, being Americans they will fail to take into account the history of the IQ test. When the IQ test was first brought to Canada, Canadians scored noticeably higher on average than Americans. This was a problem because on IQ tests, the average must always be 100 and Canadians were scoring higher than that on the American IQ tests. The Canadians then lowered their IQ test average in accordance with the rules so that their IQ was on average, 100.

Marilyn Savant has the highest I.Q ever recorded, so far, as a child her I.Q was 228 but now it has dropped down to 186, THATS STILL REALLY BIG THOUGH..........smarty pants Hers (and everyone's) drop on new tests because they continually "renormalize" the test scoring so that population average IQ (supposed normal) stays at 100. Using the old "unrenormalized" test scoring the average IQ of the US has been slowly rising for decades.
