I would assume that it's at the age where the child starts to express a preference to clothing, footwear, hair-styles, etc. Every child is different, so it would be wrong to suggest just one age :-)
Modeling requires one to be able to adapt to change and also includes traveling, which would introduce a person to many different lifestyles and cultures. Being able to work with people from all walks of life also comes in handy for being a successful model. Exposure to different lifestyles would definitely help a model's career, not hinder it.

There are many different types of parenting styles. Some parents co-sleep, others don't. Some parents do attachment parenting, others don't. Co-sleeping is a decent parenting choice. Attachment parenting for some people, is not. My opinion is that positive parenting works best.
