The two are very similar but they are not exactly the same. Prejudice is the personal irrational generalization about an entire category of people (be it based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.); it is a feeling or belief. Discrimination is the treatment of people in a negative or distinct fashion because of their membership in a category of people (be it based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.). Discrimination can be shown in demonstrable actions, such as laws, housing, jobs, etc.

Predjudice and discrimination are basically the same thing but they are different prejudice Alouthough people relate it mostly to racism to african americans it actually means your against something with no reason or for unreasonable reasons. discrimination means treatment or consideration of, or making a distinction in favor of or against, a person or thing based on the group, class, or category to which that person or thing belongs rather than on individual merit. So I guess you could say they are both related because they both mean to be against something for reasons someone cannot help. also you could say there both against something i guess but it wouldn't be very descriptive.
Stereotypes about different American subcultures can stem from ethnocentrism, which is the belief that one's own culture is superior to others. These stereotypes oversimplify and generalize diverse groups of people, contributing to prejudice and discrimination. Ethnocentrism can also lead to the devaluation of other cultures, reinforcing negative stereotypes.
Sex discrimination refers to treating someone unfairly due to their sex, such as in employment or education. Gender stereotyping is making assumptions about individuals based on societal expectations of how males and females should behave. They are related as gender stereotypes can lead to sex discrimination, but they are not the same thing.
Prejudice is a belief, while discrimination is the actions used to carry out that belief. For example, person A has a prejudice against fat people, so he displays his hatred towards them by maybe refusing to talk to them. The act of not wanting to talk to them is 'discrimination'.
The government is showing discrimination by detaining all U.S. citizens and immigrants of Arab decent.

No, they are related concepts but have different meanings. Racism refers to a belief that one race is superior or inferior to another. Prejudice is a preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience. Discrimination is the unfair treatment of individuals based on their race, ethnicity, or other characteristics.
