Why does everybody hate hippies?

To be honest,its all opinion. They hate hippies since they're different and nice,they're what we should be,what all people should be.So maybe everyone gets jealous, they get angry that they cannot hurt or harm them with words (maybe fight) but I don't think everyone hates hippies, I mean, Hate is such a strong word I myself am amazed by hippies' ways of communicating and acting.I love hippies!
