The highest suicide rate of all professions is in Psychology. The reason being is that it is very, very difficult to listen to people's problems all day and then leave them behind at the end of the day. In therapy, you are exposed to the worst of humankind. (what I mean by that is that you hear of all the abuse a lot of people go through when they're little, and have to hear other people's pain.
