It is a feminine way of sitting and shows respect.
Yes, in the 1930s, boys and girls typically attended the same schools. Segregation by gender in education was not as common during that time period, especially in public schools.
Absolutely, I think it depends on how much of a pervert the guy is, but most definitely!
Absolutely! Because with the guy thing... especially if the crush is ultra hot and talks to you. With the parents its especially if you have younger siblings who are having and getting the most attention from the parents and you want to get some of that attention. Hope this helps!
Boys sit on girls to show dominance especially if there has been a strong difference of opinion. This is a way to settle things or get the upper hand. It is my opinion that the boy usually wins this contest unless the girl out weighs him or is older and stronger. I have seen most parrents stay out of it as long as no blows are exchanged. I believe it is a natural part of human behavior and both parents on ether side should stay out of it and not let the children involved even know they are watching over them. I think parents should watch nearby if they want to make sure their child is ok just stay out of it as much as possable. Let the children work it out.
