I'm a psychiatric nurse and it is my job to ask people this everyday. some of my patients say:
however this isn't always the case. maybe some people don't want lots of attention but they get it so they have to act like they want it?
also some people may want attention so that they can show off, maybe they do it to be popular.
there are all different reasons why people get attention and not all the time, do they want it.
People may engage in inconsiderate behaviors for attention because they are seeking validation or acknowledgment. They may believe that negative attention is still better than being ignored. Some individuals may also lack healthy ways to express their emotions or communicate their needs.
There is really know telling why people do inconsiderate things for attention. Some people are just not as mature as others.
Some people may feel entitled to do whatever they like because of a sense of privilege, lack of empathy, or a belief that rules do not apply to them. This entitlement can come from a variety of factors such as upbringing, societal influence, or personality traits.
Some people may ask questions during a movie because they may be confused about the plot or details of the movie. Others may ask questions to engage in discussion or to share their thoughts with others watching the movie with them.
People perceive things differently due to a variety of factors such as past experiences, cultural background, personal beliefs, and individual biases. These factors shape how individuals interpret and understand information, leading to unique perspectives and varied opinions. Additionally, cognitive processes like attention, memory, and sensory perception also influence how people perceive the world around them.
To remember things, I use strategies like creating checklists, setting reminders on my phone, and repeating the information multiple times. To forget things, I try to avoid dwelling on them, distract myself with other tasks, and focus on new information or experiences to overwrite the memory.
The attention span of a goldfish is around 9 seconds, although recent studies suggest it could be slightly longer. This short attention span is due to the nature of their brain structure and behavior patterns.
