One of the main reasons people loose faith in God is because of the universal question WHY? Why did God allow this to happen?. Why did not God do this or that. Why does God allow war. If God loves all mankind why...? And so on and so on.
People may lose faith in God due to experiencing difficult life events, feeling that prayers are unanswered, questioning religious teachings or beliefs, encountering moral or ethical dilemmas, or struggling with personal doubts or disappointments. Each individual's journey with faith is unique and can be influenced by a variety of factors.

Christians misplace their trust in God if they are in a state of disobedience from God and His word. If they have no intention of doing what God says, then they ought not to pretend to be trusting Him to lead them to do things of which He clearly does not approve. No Christian, who is truly intending to follow God and His will (the author of this included) has ever found trust in God to be misplaced. In fact every promise of God always proves true. God even proves Himself much more trustworthy than people are willing to believe and trust Him for. A non-existent God could never of course do anything for anyone, especially things which are outside of a persons belief or expectation, or trust. That God is willing to do "ábundantly more than what we can ask or think'' demonstrates the kind of person He is. It also shows that when things work out this way that they are not psychological wishful thinking or inventions of the mind, but the real dealings of a loving God with man - a God who knows infinitely better than we do. Christianity is a learning process. Time and experience (willingness too) help us to unravel the years of our flesh training us. All our natural instincts are opposite to gods ways. Preachers can show us examples in The Bible of people trusting in god and god pulling through in miraculous ways, but when it comes down to being short on the rent we tend to panic and we look to ways that we can solve this problem of our own accord, which is sometimes in accordance with gods will, lol, like getting an nighttime job cleaning floors or security guard.
I believe "passing the plate" in church is a way that churches openly show their lack of trust in god to pay the bills. I believe the proper pattern is a box at the back with a hole in it for tithes and offerings which is 10% minimum. Sometimes a lack of trust is a byproduct of not being taught well.
You mentioned trust not faith, faith is different than trust. Trust is an important factor. The apostle peter when he was hanging upside down dying had trust in God to redeem his soul from the grave, obviously his faith got him there.
There are many things that ordinary mortals do not have any real control over. In these cases, it provides a sense of comfort to believe that, somewhere up there, a deity is willing to help, if only we perform the appropriate rites such as prayer. This sense of comfort often helps people get through difficult times.
On the other hand, this trust is misplaced if people begin to rely on God to solve problems that are within their own ability to solve. As Oliver Cromwell said, "fear God but keep your powder dry." As a committed Christian, he was saying that faith in God is important, but only people can really control events.
those who put their faith in science...... something like the big bang can't ever be 100% proven just like god because we didn't see it happen but it is the most rational and likely situation since we have evidence to support the big bang. faith in science means accepting theories that can't be proven but that make the most sense, god is not an option since there is no evidence for god's existence.
Jesus' behavior was characterized by compassion, love, humility, and selflessness. He preached forgiveness, showed kindness to all people regardless of their background, and set an example of service to others. Jesus also demonstrated unwavering faith and obedience to God.
Good people may do bad things for various reasons, such as succumbing to peer pressure, feeling justified in their actions, or experiencing a momentary lapse in judgment. It could also be due to external factors like societal influences, stress, or a lack of awareness of the consequences of their actions. Ultimately, human behavior is complex and can be influenced by a combination of internal and external factors.
In the Bible, vision refers to the spiritual insight or revelation that God provides to individuals to guide them in their faith and purpose. It is often seen as a form of divine communication to convey God's will and direction for a person's life or for a community of believers.
People can lose their concentration due to factors such as fatigue, stress, distractions, lack of interest, or multitasking. External stimuli, like noise or interruptions, can also disrupt one's concentration. Mental health issues, such as anxiety or ADHD, can also affect concentration.
People lost faith in the church because so many people were praying but yet the "black death" did not stop. When the infection did not stop people lost faith in god and therefore lost faith in the church. Hope I helped
The Jews had a strong belief and Faith in God , So they didnt understand why God allowed them to suffer harsh treatments during the Holocaust. Therefore, they began to question their faith in God .

The Catholic Church denounced the theories of the Scientific Revolution because they challenged the Church's teachings on the natural world, which were based on a literal interpretation of the Bible. The Church saw these new scientific ideas as a threat to its authority and a potential source of heresy.
People find hope in various sources such as faith, relationships, achievements, and positive experiences. Belief in a brighter future, support from loved ones, and seeing progress or improvement can all contribute to a sense of hope. Ultimately, hope is a personal and individual experience that can be sparked by different things for different people.
To people of the Jewish faith, certainly. This is a question of faith and naturally those who have faith in God as described by Jewish teachings will claim Him to be True. Those who do not have faith in this God or have faith in a different god or gods will claim Him to be False. Only you can decide which is true.
god
Actually it's impossible to tell. God will decide when that happens and when it does they call it armageddon.Remember: NEVER LOSE FAITH IN GOD!
Inspiration
For we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. You can't "lose" your faith, you may forget your faith, or doubt your faith, but you can't "lose" your faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. By faith we speak of what we believe with out proof, one's faith, whether in themselves, in God, in their Religion, or whatever aspect they choose to believe is what faith is, not something that can be taken away or lost. Falling into a sin, regardless of the sin, is not a loss in faith, but a stumbling block, we are all human, we make mistakes and we error. God knows that we are human and we will make mistakes, but God is all forgiving, don't doubt your faith because you made a mistake.
