It is because they themselves are confused or the want to test if the people are mentally tough

Human beings are naturally pressured into being as good as or better than one another. They want to fit in, but they also want to be themselves. This is what makes people want to be cool; they want to stand out, to be appreciated and special, they want others to be like them. It's all about having a following, having people you can trust look up to you.

Mature people will own up to their mistakes and apologize if it is a necessity whereas some people would rather blame others because they honestly believe it is not their fault and cannot balance bad behavior from good behavior. It takes a mature and well adjusted person to admit they are wrong and not blame other people. People who blame others can't face reality; they could be narcissistic in nature and are always right. However, these types of people are seldom happy within themselves and inwardly have no peace inside of themselves knowing they can be wrong; blame others when they shouldn't but don't know how to deal with it.
Why do people bully others?
I think people bully others because they are jealous over the person they are bullying,and they want something from the person that they are bullying because they haven't got that thing, and doesn't want to miss out on that thing.
Why do people want they stories printed in the Newspaper's or Magazines do they think of themselves as special?
I don't really much understand why people want to be on tv either, but I guess they think that people would get to know their face and name and maybe somehow in their subconcious they think that they will become famous. Some just want to be recognized for what they did.

Life really is all about inter-personal relationships, more than anything else. And so we want others to respect us. And if we can prove ourselves to others, that gives them a reason to respect us. It's very simple.

Usually people want you to think they do certain things or know certain things because they want people to like them more. I would know- I have done that many times to make friends. Also, they try to defend what they say, and some people are insecure about themselves so they make things up to feel better about themselves.
