Because there is (theoretically) no minimum age limit to use Answers. Until fairly recently, you simply registered with the site. Now you need to come here via facebook - which has a minimum user age of thirteen. Unfortunately - that leaves us vulnerable to immature youngsters who really have no idea what to say in an answer.
Incidentally... there's nothing to stop you editing such answers if you have knowledge of the subject !

Because they are maybe small and they do not understand. But they will be modest when they grow up.

There's no accounting for anybody's sense of humor. Maybe mom actually gets your jokes. Maybe you're only funny to old people, or maybe you're not funny at all and she's just being polite. Alternatively, possibly your crush is so shy that she (or he) doesn't want to risk drawing attention by laughing. Or maybe your crush thinks you're a jerk and doesn't want to encourage you. You'd probably be better off asking the people who are actually involved, as ridiculous as that sounds.
