to see what's happened to society, as the years go on I see that more and more younger kids are being influenced so much by teens today. I mean for example, 6th graders are "partying" now? I didn't even know the REAL idea of partying and by that I mean drinking, drugs etc, I even saw a bunch of 6th graders trying to get into clubs... it's ridiculous.. I never knew THAT much about all of that when I was young. Our society is being influenced--- poorly. Therefore the older they get the worse choices they make. Not to mention the average age of girls losing their virginity, AND becoming sexually active, the age has decreased a lot. It's sad. And i believe it's only going to get worse.
In all means, this may seem like the perfect "life" for them right now, but what they're doing to there future is nothing but regrets later.
Today may be considered better than in the past due to advancements in technology, healthcare, and overall quality of life. However, it's important to acknowledge that progress is not uniform across all aspects of society and there are still challenges that need to be addressed.
Exploring is different in the present compared to the past due to advancements in technology, transportation, and communication. Modern exploration benefits from tools like satellites, GPS, and drones, making it easier to discover new places and understand environments. These advancements have also facilitated global collaboration and sharing of information, further enhancing exploration efforts.
Living in the present allows us to fully experience and appreciate what is happening now, rather than getting stuck in nostalgia or regret. The present offers opportunities for growth, learning, and creating new memories that can shape our future positively. Focusing on the present can help us be more mindful, reduce stress, and improve our overall well-being.
Are you asking why we learn about the past? Have you ever heard that history repeats itself? It does repeat itself...so, to prevent our making the mistakes we made in the past, we learn history. It's human nature to make those mistakes if we don't know what happened back then--so why shouldn't we rise above that? Read former US Poet Laureate Billy Collins' poem "The History Teacher," it's short, funny, to the point, and explains things much better than I can.
"Have seen" is used in the present perfect tense to indicate an action that occurred at an unspecified time before now. "Saw" is the simple past tense and refers to a specific action that occurred in the past.

Many things in life have undergone changes already. We have to accept that what happened yesterday will be only in memories but will teach you lessons for you to be able to work out things correctly TODAY because in past, we were in regrets, in present we are with a lot of hope.

People will always question than they used to be, because time doesn't stop, and we have the feeling that the past was better. In fact, the present represents the past that we will recall in the future. So, let's make it worthwhile to remember.
Same as why many other people would immigrate, they felt that they would have better chances and opportunities for work and living a better life. More than likely, anyway. Same reasons why the have gone elsewhere. Of course it depends on what year you are talking about, present day or the past?
