The universal and eternal concept of mind:
It is a universal and eternal belief that the mind and everything associated with it, like 'I', Self, emotions, feelings, thinking, etc are abstract and thus have no material existence of any kind.
We are not supposed to use the word 'I' as a common noun, to mean that 'I' is an object. We are supposed to use it as a personal pronoun, first person, singular. We have to use emotions, feelings, etc as abstract nouns.
We honestly believe that it is impossible to associate them with objects in the real world.
The abstract mind:
Suppose that we are lying on the cot in our room. Suppose that we are imagining that we are floating on the moon, a few meters above its surface. In our imagination we can see the moon below us clearly. However, we can't show the moon in our imagination to others in our room. This proves that mind has no material existence and is thus abstract.
The abstract mind is a socially accepted mind.
The real mind:
Suppose that we are lying on the cot in our room. Suppose that we are imaginining that we are lying on the cot in our room. Then what ever we have in our imagination would have real existence. We are using a mind that has as real an existence as our body. In our imagination we would have the same height and power as in our real world.
Suppose that we are imagining that we have got up from the cot and are sitting. We have used the isometric component of our skeletal muscular system for our imagination. Since isometric contraction doesn't lead to visible movement it is not visible to others. We can't show our imagination of sitting to others. We can just feel it.
The real mind is forbdidden mind because it gives us self-control.
The real and the imaginary:
Isotonic contraction brings about real world movements and is always real. However, isometric contraction can be virtual. Suppose that our skeletal muscular system has two layers. If the rear layer has isometrically contracted (hardened) by 2 units and the front layer by 1 unit, it means that an isometric contraction of zero unit is occurring outside our body. This is virtual or imaginary isometric contraction. It is this kind of isometric contraction, that occurs towards a point outside our body, that makes our mind look abstract.
The forbidden real mind:
We are not supposed to use our mind in the way described above. Our imaginations must always be abstract. We should not imagine things around us. We should not imgaine things that we can do.
The ban of the real mind:
At the dawn of civilization self-control was banned and was replaced with social control and self-discipline. This was necessary because it was humanly impossible to monitor all members of the society. If people have self-control they would violate the code of conduct of the society in a way acceptable to it. People who have attained Moksha would have self-control and therefore they can't be controlled by the society.
Ban of self-control implies ban of real mind also.
When we have self-control our mind would have a real existence. Our 'I' would be within our Isometric body. We can clearly feel that emotions are nothing but isometric contractions of muscles of facial expression. We can clearly feel that thinking too is nothing but isometric contractions of our skeletal muscular system.
Moksha and the real mind:
Attaining Moksha is nothing but regaining our real mind. This would liberate us from control by the society.
Meditation is the most reliable way to attain Moksha. In Meditation we sit motionless and try to keep our 'I' with in our body. We make our mind absolutely real.
Thus, our mind is not abstract. It appears abstract because we use it in the abstract mode only.
