Answer: Evil was let into the world due to free will. God gave us the choice to do what we want. He didn't want to control us like robots, because he loves us. This does not mean he won't be there for us, and look after us.

∙ 15y agoThe world is not evil. Some people in it are evil. Cain killed Abel because he was jealous. People have free will. Our consciences tell us whether some things we do is right or wrong. People steal, murder, rape, commit adultery, commit sins against nature, etc. We know these things are wrong but sometimes do them anyway. We think to ourselves, "Well, no one will see us. We can get away with it". If we keep in mind that God sees everything we do and that He will judge us when we die, then we would certainly think twice about the evil we are about to do. Because of it's name, the word is actually vile, not evil. ci-vil-ize. ci: French, yes. vil: From Latin abreviated form of vile. Found in words as vilify, villainy. -ize: Suffix, used to make verbs from nouns. ex: energize, cause to have energy. ci-vil-ize: yes cause it to be vile. Every thing does what it is named to do. ANSWER the world is evil because there are very many evil men and women in very much power. there are prophets in The Bible that fortold this happening. ---- They vil-ize this , they vil-ize that; they vil-ize everywhere they are at! well, everyone does evil in their lifetime--it's in our nature. A person can be a good person because you trust them, they are virtuous, haven't gone to jail, you know, just a good dude. But that good dude can mess up, he can get really angry, and do something he'll regret later. A big difference between good and evil people is that good people have a conscience, and regret the bad things they did. Evil people do bad things to others because they enjoy it, and don't regret it later.
How did evil get into the world?
Once sentience is achieved human kind has always sought after more than their meager existence allowed, greed for material wealth and by extension power. Evil is in this world because some men forsake their humanity and become monsters, all for the sake of wealth and power. There are also lesser evils, like murderers and thieves, these people often have mental illnesses, were abused as a child or had some sort of traumatic experience, either that or they were simply born in an environment that promotes evil. Evil births evil, as does good births good.
Why are most humans just so evil and unintelligent?
This is really a profoud question. We ARE evil and unintelligent. We are also HERE. The things that are characteristic to human kind are the things that helped us survive the millions of years of our history. Barring catastrophic disasters, species sometimes survive because they have enough built-in flexibility to adapt to a new environment. Only time will tell if our evil and unintelligence will continue to serve us, or will be our undoing. We are creating a world vastly different from the one that gave us birth.
