That is an old fashioned, outdated theory. In fact, it dates to the time when most women were at home and men were in the workforce. Many professions today are still predominated by men for social reasons, not reasons relating to the abilities of women. The skills that a chef needs to succeed are not exclusive to men, women posses those same skills. If more men take a turn at home to nurture young children, and old fashioned prejudices fade, eventually the gender disparity in professions will level out.
A mature man will not try to make a woman jealous because he would be able to communicate his feelings in a healthy way if had any concerns. Only men who are not sure of themselves and are not able to articulate their feelings to a woman will try to make a woman jealous. There are risks with trying to provoke jealousy in another, be it male or female. Communication is key. If you want something, don't like something, have a problem or issue, you should be able to voice it and get the response that you need to make a decision. All these games and nonsense is for children. Not fully grown adults.
Gay men do not cease being men simply because of their sexual orientation. A gay man is a man, not a woman. The parental instinct of a man is called the paternal instinct. If a man identifies himself as a woman, then he is transgendered and that is a different issue than being gay.
Psychologists earn less money than Psychiatrists make. The highest earning Psychologists make around 102,000 dollars yearly which is alot more than the lowest earning Psychologists make which is less than 35,000 yearly.
Hmm. That's a good question, but it completely depends on the circumstances. Is it better to avoid making a decision than to make a decision to kill? Yes. But of course it would be better to make a decision NOT to kill. I think almost always it is better to make a decision and commit to something. The trick is working to make sure we make good decisions. Is it better to not make a decision than to decide to go to college? No. People who don't go to college often regret it later in life, when they have to go back to get a better job, and now they have spouses and kids and job responsibilities to work around. However, even then, it would be better to decide not to go, and move forward in another direction, than to just sit and vacillate. Sometimes we are going to make bad decisions and we're going to have to backtrack and change. That's life. But never deciding anything doesn't allow us to progress or learn. So I would say... make a decision. Do your research, try to make a good decision the first time, but commit to something. If you find out it is a bad decision, then make another decision to turn around... but either way, keep going and reaching for good things, a better life, and ways to help others.
Absolutely improper. Unless that particular married woman was secretly dating the man that wants to give her jewelry. To not decline the gift would be leading the gift-giver to think the married woman is interested in him. If that is the case, then she should go for it, otherwise a firm 'no thank you' is called for. As a married man my wife would be p... I mean she would be mad. Besides if I gave jewelery to another women she woul mean more to me than just a friend. Unless she was family or something like that. I would say in my case that it would be innapropriate.
General questions like this are extremely difficult to answer. A chef in New York City at a five star hotel may make $100,000 or more per year, where as a chef say in Birmingham, AL may make half that. Then, a chef at a chain restaurant may make even less than that
The sentence "Mike is a chef when he's in the kitchen" is a metaphor. It directly equates Mike to a chef, suggesting that he embodies the qualities or skills of a chef in that setting, rather than using "like" or "as" to make a comparison, which would indicate a simile.

The conclusion is: # A Chef can be the jack-of-all-trades, if he learns quite enough. # A Chef can be more than just a cook, if he looks far enough. # A Chef's greatest asset is his knowledge. # A Chef does not need to be fat to be considered skillful.
The term from French is sous-chef, (under-chef), or sous-chef de cuisine, the second in command of a kitchen staff. There can be more than one where food preparation is specialized.
