Remote communities, assuming that remote and rural are interchangeable, offer many benefits. First and foremost there is often a very low crime rate. The communities are typically tight knit and everyone knows everyone, which at times annoying, can also create a sense of belonging. Additionally, it offers schooling with lower class numbers and higher student/teacher interaction capabilities. There are rarely traffic jams and there is usually a lack of big corporate businesses as well.
In their perfect community where everyone must live by certain rules or be "released" (excluded) and out on their own. They fear that if they can't get the baby's fretfulness under control then no family unit will want him and he will be released even though he is a baby that cannot fend for himself.
