A book citation is basically an item that you add to your bibliography.
A bibliography is an organized list of books, articles and other references that you have used for your research paper, appearing at the end of your document.
Doing a bibliography involves creating citations, which are the formatted notes that acknowledge the source of ideas, information, and quoted passages consulted for your research paper.
A short note including the author's name and publication date is typically called a citation or reference. It helps readers easily locate the source of information and gives credit to the original creator.
the author's last name and the year of publication of the source material. It is used to give credit to the original author and direct readers to the complete reference in the bibliography or works cited page.
Citation
The publication date can be really important if the book is in a subject like science or history. Data is found all the time and if the date is too old the newest information won't be included. New theories are also developed that prove old ideas wrong.
In APA format, citations for the Koran should include the name of the text in italics, followed by the chapter and verse number. For example, (Koran 2:255). A full citation should include details such as the translation used and the publication date of that translation.
You can find the note book in your messages page
