The dictionary is a main resource that a person could use in order to look up a particular word that needs to be spelled. If a dictionary is not available, then the word could be possibly be found in a thesaurus.
You could use a spell checker in a word processing program like Microsoft Word, use an online dictionary and type in a phonetic spelling of the word, or use a voice-to-text feature on your phone or computer to say the word and see if it provides the correct spelling.
