A block quote is a quote longer than 40 words. It consists of a freestanding block of typewritten lines, without quotation marks. The entire block of text is indented one-half inch, the same as the first line of a paragraph.

When using a quotation, you should enclose the quoted text within quotation marks. Additionally, you should attribute the quote to its original source, either by including the author's name or the title of the work it is from.

The APA format has a set of rules or guidelines for the body paragraphs. Like, Times New Roman is recommended while the Arial font is suggested for image captions. Paragraph should be started with at least 5 spaces. Headings and sub headings should be distinguished. People should complete their abstract within a paragraph and should not move in to next paragraph.
