The Author Should Appear First
In a Chicago style bibliography, a hanging indent is used for each reference. The first line of each reference is flush with the left margin, with subsequent lines indented.
References in a bibliography should be listed in alphabetical order by the last name of the first author, with works by the same author ordered chronologically. Each reference includes the author's name, publication date, title, and source.

References should come first, followed by the bibliography, and then the appendix. The references section lists all sources cited in the work, the bibliography includes additional sources consulted but not cited, and the appendix includes any supplementary material such as tables, figures, or extra data.
Is is best to create a bibliography card the first time you run across a piece of useful information in a source. Each separate source should have its own bibliography card. Each quote from a source should have a secondary card that you'd put behind the bibliography card for that source. This process makes it easier to create an outline and begin writing.
