Baptism is a symbolic act of faith and commitment to Christianity, but it is not the only factor in being "saved" according to Christian beliefs. Salvation is believed to come through faith in Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for sins. Baptism is seen as an important step in the Christian journey, but it is not the sole requirement for salvation.
Yes
Believe and be baptized in the name of Jesus and you will be saved.
Who dead in Christ is the people is saved by getting baptized in Jesus name.
Saved and BaptizedBeing baptized doesn't mean the same thing as saved....you can be baptized and not be saved. It doesn't matter.Baptized-to be rebornBaptized is just going under the water as sinful you.But coming out of the water as new you.Example:Joe was dumped under the water in his sin of adultry. But came out happy and not stressed and took his wife and repented to God.Saved-believing Jesus died for our sins and is the son of GodSaved is when someone asks you," who is Jesus?" You say,"The son of God!"And if someone asks you," what did he do for us or you?"You say,"He died for our sins!"Now you know the difference between saved and baptized.....take it from a demon seer!
To my knowledge, there is nothing in the Bible which directly states the answer to this question. I believe that if a person is truly saved, they will go to heaven whether or not they are baptized. Baptism is not a requirement for salvation; rather it is an act of obedience. It is an outward sign of an inward change. Some people will die before they have a chance to get baptized, but if you are truly a Christian I would strongly suggest that you get baptized.
"He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." --Mark 16:16.
Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (KJV)
People are saved by accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Water baptism is a public demonstration singling you out as a follower of Christ. It is not the saving act in of itself.
In most Apostolic churches you would be baptized in the name of Jesus, then God would hopefully give you the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost may also be called the Holy Spirit. To become a member you do not have to be saved, yet you could not be in the choir or anything until you got saved, though. Baptism is valuable because its a symbol that you have been saved and is a born again christian. It is also a command that if you get saved you are suppose to do it. However it is not a requirement of salvation in other words you can still go to Heaven if you are not baptized.
I am a Baptist, and it is alright if you join..the only reason you get baptized is if you haven't shown people that you are saved is the only reason we get baptized also to "cleanse" yourself
