Twelve Tribes The definition of a cult is highly controversial. Some people do believe that The Twelve Tribes Communities are a cult or cult-like. It Largely depend on your point of view, a majority of these anti-cult experts who spend time decrying them have equally murky backgrounds. This is largley a point of view thing. you have people who scream cult, people who call them freind, and those who call it salvation. So a wide range of answers are possible its mainly point of view

No- the 12 tribes of Israel are not a cult. This cult aspiration is based on the proclamations of scholars who believe in Philosopha doctrine and use its dialects to make their determinations. The proof is in the pudding so to speak....

  1. A cult is defined by Wesbsters as: a small religious group that is not part of a larger and more accepted religion and that has beliefs regarded by many people as extreme or dangerous.
  2. The house of Israel did not (and does not today) have a religion and neither does Christ quite frankly. Many will argue this point but factually neither our Father nor Christ want humans to be involved in a religion.
  3. Nothing about our Fathers laws speaks to extreme or dangerous situations, as a matter of fact they speak specifically against such things as Murder, and Theft and bearing false witness (lying about others (yes this includes gossip)) ... Read Exodus 20
  4. Or Father picked the people of Israel, See Psalm 135:4... They were to be the example to others living in the flesh around Israel and under freewill, who were often times forced into cults, which murdered many of them as offerings to the god of the cult (usually the sun god)
  5. One has freewill to choose for themselves, or Father never forces anyone and neither does Christ, the choice is up to the individual if he/she wants a relationship with their Father, Read John 10 where it states you can go in and out. This is the beauty of our Fathers plan, each person gets to choose for themselves and there is forgiveness available for those who sin against his law, which we find is also the base law of all mankind (don't murder, don't steal, don't bear false witness against others, respect your parents, don't covent the things of others ... etc).
  6. The 12 Tribes are direct descendants of Adam (et-ha-adam), a bloodline through which Christ would eventually come as prophesied by Isaiah (7:14) and fulfilled in the daughter of Aaron called Mary (Luke 1-3)
