Of course. Philosophy is a way of life - religion is a belief system - they can, but do not need, to clash. As most religions hold the same porecepts (oir cammandments if you will) to be true, there is often no clash at all.
I don't think it does. Philosophy never tells you what to do. What provides rules for living is religion.

Positive of course!Answer:Buddhists do not have position on religion. However as they have no gods and feel that enlightenment is done without the intervention or help of deities many of the basic attributes of religion fulfil no purpose. Quotes from the Dalai lama supporting this view are:This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness. We can live without religion and meditation, but we cannot survive without human affection.Whether one believes in a religion or not, and whether one believes in rebirth or not, there isn't anyone who doesn't appreciate kindness and compassion.
