It depends. A lot religions could be proven right if they were, but most religions can't actually be proven wrong, except by logic. That's why if you're an atheist it's just stupid to state that there is no god; even though there probably isn't a god and the chances of their being one are so small it's almost impossible, there's no way to actually disprove the existence of God. It's like trying to disprove the existence of a teapot in orbit around Mars that can't be detected by any of our equipment, you can't do it, but you're reasonably sure that it's not there.

Who is right as far as religion is concerned?

Firstly, religion and the bible must go hand in hand so religious doctrine (beliefs), standards of conduct and the organizational procedures MUST be based on the bible. The bible is the guide to measure against and will show the right/true religion. Questions to consider: Can ALL the beliefs be proven from the bible? Is the identifying mark of LOVE visible despite national, racial and political borders? Is God's name sanctified and made known as per the Lords Prayer? We have the right to speak our minds, but we don't have to exercise that right by expressing our opinions. We have the right to practice any religion, but we don't have to exercise that right by believing in a particular religion.AnswerThe First Amendment protects every American citizen from having a state sponsored religion imposed upon them. The beneficiaries of that right are not categorized by their beliefs or lack of beliefs but by being Americans. The First Amendment protects everyone.
