I have a Quaker parrots and she is about 9 weeks old and I have done some intense reading on parrots and what they eat. Parrots love their fruit but be careful not to feed them any seeds of fruit or vegetables...they love green vegetables as well. As for seeds I give my Quaker budgie seeds everyday and only feed her sunflower and pumpkin seeds as a treat once a week because it's high in fat so it shouldn't be given too much. Strictly no CHOCOLATE OR AVO. This is highly toxic to all parrots My Quaker doesn't like apple much but she loves seedless grapes but every parrot has their own likes so try out everything and they will choose Hope this helps Mishkaah
Today I bought a dragon fruit at the grocery store. I remember when I was younger eating a dragon fruit. Today I am going to try to prepare and eat a dragon fruit. 1. Wash work surface; you don't want a dirty dragon fruit! 2. Rinse dragon fruit, then dry off. 3. Get knife. Not too large, but big enough to span from your wrist to the knuckle of you middle finger, about. 4. Clean knife. 5. Cut the dragon fruit in half. 6. Spoon white part out. 7. If wanted in slices cut the halves into slices. Then cut into strips Voila a perfect dragon fruit!
