Yes, Rastafarians can be fired for testing positive for marijuana, as most employers have the right to enforce drug-free workplace policies regardless of an employee's religious beliefs. While Rastafarianism incorporates the use of marijuana as a sacrament, legal protections for religious practices vary by jurisdiction. In some places, individuals may seek exemptions based on religious grounds, but success in such cases is not guaranteed. Ultimately, it depends on local laws and the employer's policies.
That will depend on your employment agreement. In most companies testing positive is automatic dismissal, they don't need a second occurance.
no they would get fired if they did
no but not positive
No not in their house , but in there class room yes.
this is entirely out of line. first off, if they were passing marijuana around, why would they do a drug test? they were just trying to get people fired. if i were you, I'd march right up to the owner/boss of the business and tell him/her it isn't fair. i know, this isn't the best answer, but i am pretty young.
No, unless the company has a policy claiming drug tests are random, and you can provide some sort of evidence that you were discriminated against and it wasn't a 'random' drug-test. Sorry!!
you will be fired.
you will be fired.
Any lie on an application is grounds for dismissal.
No in most cases you can not claim unemployment .
In Colorado there are different rules for different companies regarding drug testing. Some companies may opt to test all new hires for drug use, but many do not test at all.
You'd need a prescription or a doctor's statement.
