Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ki fateh!

I learnt sukhmani sahib, just by reading 5 ashtpadis daily. But within 1 month I was able to read daily whole path. Reading few ashtpadis helped me in doing daily sukhmani sahib's path. Later when I learnt the path it was easy to do complete path as it takes me less time now. So I think not few slokes, but in the beginning we can read as many ashtpadis as we can in one day and next day we can continue from the same place where we left a day before.

Please accept my appologies and kindly correct me if I am wrong.

If you have a blackberry can you see when someone has read the text msg you have sent them?

You can't tell if someone has read your text message. But there will be a little 'r' beside the check mark in BBM (Blackberry Messenger) and that will show that it's been read, but only with BBM, not text messages.

Read from you or read to you?

There are advantages to both being read to from someone, or reading to someone. When someone is being read to, they get to listen and learn. By having someone read to another person, they also learn.

Is this a sentence - Read a joke in a book?

Yes. It is one of those sentences with an implied subject, which is why it can be confusing. But if you are telling someone to do something, and say "read this" or "read that." ... it is still a sentence, even though you don't say "you, read that," or "Sally, read that." If you are talking about yourself though, you need to add the "I." So... "I read a joke in a book" is correct. It is only correct without a subject if you are instructing someone else about what to do.

Can you only tweet someone who is following you?
