It is the custom for God Parents to be in attendance at the baptism of a child. They are the ones who take on the responsibility to see that the child is brought up in the faith. They may also act as guides in the child life, encouraging the child to grow up in wisdom to ba able to lead a good and wholesome life. However the first responsibility lies with the parents and not with the God Parents. For parents to place all responsibility upon the God Parents to guide the child through the early stage of their lives, is tantamount to the neglecting of the child by the parents.
One may choose another Grand Parent but again this places the responsibility upon them. It is a sign that the parents wish to place upon others what they should be doing.
You Have To have A Kid In School And Select The Kid You Want To Be A Godparent For Ask The Person By Sending A message See What They Say And Ask Them How To Do It It Worked For Me -CamysBoy- my baby name is: tyrone sex:boy or -CamysBaby- my babys name is: tony sex:girl add me
Yes indeed, your godparent can be your Confirmation Sponsor. However, your godparent does not have to be your Confirmation Sponsor. It can be anyone who exemplifies leading a good Christian life. You might pick a family member, neighbor, favorite teacher, or if you have a special bond with the person you could even ask a nun or priest. However, this person should be someone you see often throughout your life.
People will request to be your baby's godparent, or you can ask.
If they can, they will. If not, someone will standi in their place & represent them.
IF the parents of the child pick you as a GodParent, I would think that is something they would have to ask their priest, etc. I do know that, not being a Catholic, I am a godparent for a child who was born into the Catholic church...
A person has to ask if they could be your child's godparent. If they want to do this, one of their children must go to school. If they ask, when you log in you will see their request. My name on Babydow is Mrs Rachel Styles. Check it out. You can hit me up on their with any questions!
I searched on multiple websites. And it said you have to wait till atleast 1 of your babies are in school! Then you'll be able to become a godparent. Also if you play babydow add me my name is klowens! ;-)
I know a lot of superstitions but i've never heard of this one being one, but to answer your question i would say NO because i would see that as a good thing for someone to ask you to be their godparent!
ask them if you can see your passport
go ask another person
Oh, dude, technically speaking, anyone can be a godparent regardless of their faith. It's more about the role they play in the child's life than their religious beliefs. So, like, if a Mormon wants to be a godparent, they can totally do it. It's not like there's a godparent eligibility test based on religion or anything.
"where have you been" is something a person would ask another person after they have returned from a place unknown to the asker. "where have you gone" is something a person would ask another person while they are in an unknown place and have not yet returned.
