Since one the sinless can enter heaven, our sinful nature is a problem for us. The seriousness of the problem comes to light when we come to know that we can't do anything to solve this problem. The only one who can solve this problem is God Himself.
God provided us a solution to the problem in the person of Jesus. Jesus died for us and if we believe in Him we will be cleansed and thus we will become holy enough to enter heaven.
