No.
A Valkyrie, or more properly a Valkyr was, according to the Eddas and Nordic mythology, a servant of the Great Hall (Valhalla), where the chosen dead resided in wait of the day when Heimdall would blow his bugle and herald Ragnarok; the final battle between the gods and the frost giants.
Valkyrs were supposedly all beautiful virgins who would watch over great battles and, from the slain, choose the greatest of the warriors and take them back to Valhalla, where they would be eat sumptuous banquets, drink mead, fight and take women.
Whatever you have heard about Valkyries is doubtless incorrect.
The only reason a Valkyr would protect you is if you had died honourably on the battlefield and she was transporting you to Valhalla.
As for "Summoning" one... I somehow doubt that is possible, and if it were, she probably wouldn't like you very much for it!

Actually the above is only partially true. There are instances in some legends and sagas where Valkyr do Overwatch families and have on occasion either been taken by or taken for themselves mortal males as lovers and husbands. That they were virgins is only one variant of the myths. In fact the actual number of Valkyrie ranges from nine to thirty. And if they did exist, which is enticing but nonetheless highly improbable, they wouldn't have much to do at this time. There are not many "warriors" on any battlefields today that actually believe in Asa or the Old Scandinavian religions. As our society and culture has evolved and changed, so too would any of the Old Gods and Goddesses, including the Valkryie evolve and change, if they truly existed. They could be extremely bored at this point, so summon away...
subject to your belief, if you want to protect or ask for help, you should think of the creator of those angels, the angels them self are creatures like you and me helpless and hopless in this department (protection). so , ask the All mighty ( the creator of heaven and earth) , he will listen, and send any creature he wells to help or fullfil his wish.... this creature could be an angel or could be even another human like you. so there is no way to summon an angel to protect others.
(Summon : to call for, or require, an appearance) "The bell was used to summon the villagers in an emergency." "He believed he could summon demons to do his bidding." "I had to summon the Mayor because there was a tragic mess!"
She was getting ready to summon the suspects into court! :)

well, you see... you clasp your hands together. Look up in the sky, and ask for help. God is a loving person and will surely help you. Hope this helped you : )
Valkyrie was the name of a spaceship on Battle Star Galatica. The Honda Valkyrie is a motorcycle produced by Honda between 1996 and 2003, including both years. This bike was known as the Honda GL 1500 in the United States and as the Honda F6 in other countries. In Norse mythology, Valkyrie means beautiful girls who served the deity known as "Odin". Their purpose was to ride on horseback over battlefields so they could claim dead warriors and bring them to "Valhalla". Valkyrie has thus come to signify a powerful and beautiful virgin who is fearless and strong at the same time.
No of course not, could any old person off the street run a marathon.
Yes, but only on the models shipped to Japan. Why? I wish I could get one here.
Yes. Since you can't special summon, you can't even begin to initiate any kind of special summon. That means assuming a special summon card has a cost of tributing/banishing one monster, you could not use Kristya as that cost. Even if the summon does not use the chain, it is still not possible to tribute/banish Kristya. So the opponent could not tribute your Kristya for his Lava Golem.
Yes it could but not in one hit.
Yes, just as long as you remember you are allowed only one Normal Summon per turn, and a tribute summon is a Normal Summon. So you could Special Summon a monster and tribute it for example. Also, you are free to tribute it as a cost for cards like Enemy Controller.
Yes, no part of Soul Exchange stops you performing summons that turn. You could activate Soul Exchange against one monster, then perform your normal summon for the turn, tributing that monster for a Lv5-6 one. Or you could do a regular normal summon and tribute that monster for something else. It's up to you.
