it's the absence of the god....
i think its very essential to believe in god. god is a positive word created by us in a positive stream of life. whenever we think or pray god we emmit positive waves from our body. these waves float in the atmosphere and effects each and every creature of the universe, these waves reduces the negative waves from the universe.
ask God.
It depends on what you religion is. The positive is you have something to believe in. If you believe in the one God, there is no negative side. If you don't, there will only be Hell to pay.

Things that are negative are usually the result of my own sin, which then can and should result in greater appreciation in God's love, and mercy. Where they are from things external to myself, they can help to produce patience and a deeper reliance on God's leading and power. They can also lead to an appreciation of God's word as a source of assurance and guidance. Positive things are really from God as a sign of His mercy and love and especially when they come in a time of discouragement are greatly appreciated.
