Describe the importance of acquiring the knowledge of science and technology in the light of Holy Quran?

- Seeking knowledge is a sacred duty. It's assured A LOT in the Islamic teachings, both the holy Quran & the Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad PBUH.

As the question requires a clarification in the light of the holy Quran, then these are examples:

• The first word revealed of the Quran was the word "Iqraa" which is translated into "read" or "educate yourself".

( Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-

• Allah says:

(...Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants, who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving).
