I think this is not correct answer. After much reading his theology I found out that he did not believe in Christian God, or, in any personal God at all. Yes, he was a clargyman, but he preached his own version of Christianity - religion withoud Jesus as second person of Trinity, Jesus without miracles, ressurection.... His Christianity was ethics of Jesus and had nothing to do with official Christianity. To know more, just read his work.
