Yes, she did. The voice she heard spoke as if it was Jesus, the Christ. Especially if you read the Ur-text version you will find that it is self evident, that the voice asserts itself to have lived as Jesus at one point.
On the other hand, if you really grasp the philosophy of ACIM, one of the main messages is that we are all ONE - and in essence we are all Jesus or better Christ - the Son of God. We kind of just forgot who we are in essence - and ACIM is helping us to remember.
No, Helen never had children although she took several people under her wing and loved them in a mothering way.

i just now noticed this question has no answer yet. My time is very limited the rest of today, but I will get back to this in a day or two, maybe three, and give you a more complete answer. But I can tell you have been given misinformation. Helen is the only one who directly took down the content of A Course In Miracles (ACIM) in its entirety from the source of the material. Others played majors rolls in getting the notes she took in her own shorthand to the point of being published. Kenneth Wapnick, Ph,D, the person to whom I'm sure you were referring to as Wappner, was extremely instrumental at that time. He still is one of the most influential individuals within the ACIM leadership and very possibly the most knowledgeable person alive today on ACIM, its contents and the interpretation of the contents. I will explain this more fully with my next post.
