No! After death there is no second chance. When you are dead physically and spiritually there is no second chance for salvation.
In I Peter chapter 3 we are told that Jesus in His spirit went to the place where the fallen angels are kept in chains until the day of judgment and then cast into the Lake of Fire. Jesus went there to proclaim that He had gained a total victory over Satan and all his cronies by dying on the cross.
And yes His body lay in the grave for 3 days and 3 nights. Some do believe there is a second chance, but it is not supported by scripture.
Another Answer:
Yes, as He was fully human and had to do all that humans do. The most common term for 'hell' used is 'Sheol' in the Hebrew and 'Hades' in the Greek and simply means grave or pit. Jesus gave only one sign of His Messiahship, that of Jonah being 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the great fish (metaphor for grave):
Matthew 12:40New King James Version (NKJV)40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Jesus died so all mankind can have A chance at God's gift of Salvation.
The chance for redemption in place of eternity in hell.
Well in Christian views its like another life. For example: Like if you died and Jesus would give you another chance. It's in the middle of Hell and Heaven
christianity
so he wouldnt send them to hell
Free Pass to hell No chance to heaven
The bible never states that Jesus went to hell. There is no mention of Jesus taking a flower into hell with him.
This is not stated anywhere in the New Testament.
During the three days in the grave, Jesus is believed to have descended into hell to proclaim victory over sin and death, and then rose from the dead on the third day.
A "snowball's chance in hell" means complety not standing a chance in a particular situation.
Jesus didn't visit hell because he has no right. Jesus is perfect and sinless so he can't go to hell. And anyway, who ever goes to hell can never come out and will have to die forever.
After Jesus' death he went directly to Hades. He preached to all the people in the prisons and dungeons. After he preached for 3 days, God came down to Hell and stole the keys of death from Satan. He gave the keys to Jesus and Jesus got out of Hell and God restored His spirit so that Jesus could come back to life.If you mean how did Jesus rise from the dead three days after easter, then the answer is God did it. He can do anything. He made you an me and well........ everything. If he can make everything, he can do anything.
Hell more and likely do it again, they always do. Its a male ego, if you give him that second chance hell act like he can do it again later and that youll take him back.
