Jesus was generally quiet, did not put a defense, and rarely responded to the accusations. But was condemned by the Jewish authorities when he will not deny that he is the Son of God
No. However; Jesus "rebuked the wind and said to the sea: 'Hush! Be quiet!' And the wind abated, and a great calm set in."
What happens is that the air volume entering the alveoli also decreases. Tidal volume is the quantity of air that enters and leaves the lungs during quiet breathing.
This event - the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, is recorded in all four gospels:Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11: 1-11, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19 although only 2 (Matthew and John) record that people actually waved palms:1. Matthew 21: 1-11As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and at once you will find a donkey tied there, with her colt by her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3If anyone says anything to you, tell him that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away."This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet:"Say to the Daughter of Zion,'See, your king comes to you, gentle and riding on a donkey,on a colt, the foal of a donkey.' "The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road. The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted,"Hosannato the Son of David!""Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!""Hosanna in the highest!"When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, "Who is this?"The crowds answered, "This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee."2. Mark 11: 1-11As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, 'Why are you doing this?' tell him, 'The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.' "They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, some people standing there asked, "What are you doing, untying that colt?" They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go. When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. 9Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted,"Hosanna!""Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!""Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!""Hosanna in the highest!"Jesus entered Jerusalem and went to the temple. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.3. Luke 19:28-11After Jesus had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. As he approached Bethphage and Bethany at the hill called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples, saying to them, "Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' tell him, 'The Lord needs it.' "Those who were sent ahead went and found it just as he had told them. As they were untying the colt, its owners asked them, "Why are you untying the colt?"They replied, "The Lord needs it."They brought it to Jesus, threw their cloaks on the colt and put Jesus on it. As he went along, people spread their cloaks on the road. When he came near the place where the road goes down the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began joyfully to praise God in loud voices for all the miracles they had seen:"Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!""Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, "Teacher, rebuke your disciples!""I tell you," he replied, "if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out."As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it and said, "If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace-but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you."4. John 12: 12-19The next day the great crowd that had come for the Feast heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,"Hosanna!""Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!""Blessed is the King of Israel!" Jesus found a young donkey and sat upon it, as it is written,"Do not be afraid, O Daughter of Zion;see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey's colt."At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that they had done these things to him.Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word. Many people, because they had heard that he had given this miraculous sign, went out to meet him. So the Pharisees said to one another, "See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!"
It was quiet usual to burn hemp at that time, especially for enlightening properties. As anointing traditionally involved the burning of hemp and Jesus was also called the anointed, it is almost certain that jesus burned hemp.
It would depend on the individual. Many had faith that Jesus could heal them of whatever their affliction was. The Priests suspected that His power was devised of the devil. The authorities expected Jesus to be quiet so as not to stir up trouble with the locals.
Matthew records that after John's execution by Herod Jesus left to go to a desert place with His disciples. 13When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. Mark and Luke add the additional detail that the disciples had just returned from their 'preaching assignment' and do not mention that the going off to a place alone was a direct reaction to John's death. In fact the suggestion is that there was so much going on that the opportunity for a private 'debriefing' necessitated them getting away from the crowd and so not necessarily as a direct reaction to John's death. Matthew does not necessarily imply that the departure was a direct consequence of John's execution either or that Jesus was fleeing for His life in fear and trembling. There were a number of occasions when Jesus, due to the crowds that followed Him, sought for some 'peace and quiet' either for His own sake or for the disciples (that they could be taught in peace) or both. 29And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb. 30And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught. 31And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. 9And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him. 10And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.
Jesus had no denomination. The different religions and denominations that we have now, have been derived from the truth that Jesus came to share. People would begin reading the Bible, and picking and choosing what parts they liked and whatever parts didn't suit them, they'd change. That's how we have so many different versions of the Bible. People want to play McJesus and try and have it their way. in reality, that's not getting you to heaven. Serve God for who he is and either believe the Bible, cover to cover.. or don't believe it at all. But, if you want to look at it in a technical sense. Jesus wasn't afraid to get loud and fired up. He certainly wasn't the quiet one who'd occasionally give an 'amen' under his breath, if ya know what i mean.. therefore, if you would compare the way that Jesus taught to the denominations we have today, I'd say he was Pentecostal.
It was not in Christ nature to argue. He would discuss gospel principles in a quiet unassuming manner. You cannot discuss the gospel with an argumentative man.
