Muslims need not say their prayer in groups all the time. They can also say their prayer individually at home or at any other public place, say the office, prayer room, or wherever he/she may please, as long as the place is clean and away from filth and noise interference. However, Muslims are strongly encouraged to pray in congregation or groups whenever they have the chance or opportunity, as group prayer brings in multiple reward and blessing from Allah SWT. During congregational prayer the imam will lead the prayer whilst the others immediately follow him from behind in unison. This is the beauty and grandeur of any congregational prayer, as everyone is treated equal, irrespective of whether you are kings or paupers.
