do you ever ask friends or family members to pray for you? its the same when praying to angels This might not help you, but my aunt has always told me not to pray to angels, you should pray to god, angels are servants and helpers for god therefore, pray to god not angels.
Just pray.
Roman Catholicism would hold that, while we can address our guardian angels, they do not communicate with us. The angels who are mentioned in the Bible as having addressed people did so at God's behest. The people did not initiate the communication.
We chant and pray...well...prayers and praises to the Lord our God and prayers asking angels and saints to pray for us. We give praise and thanks to Him and we mainly ask him to forgive our sins and save us from the fires of hell.
Catholics believe that each living person is assigned a guardian angel to protect them from harm. However, Catholics do not normally pray to their guardian angels or ask them to grant wishes.
The noble prophet Mohammed has said that one should avoid pictures of the lord Allah, since one should perceive Allah in his true form and not as a mere representation of a painter. However nothing has been said about having your own photographs or having pictures of beautiful things. But many Muslims, instead of understanding and following the original statement of the noble prophet, make a big fuss about pictures/photographs of common people, nature, etc. Nowhere in the Quran has having pictures in general been called Haram. What is Haram is making a painting/shape to God and blindly believing in that shape/painting without trying to reach Allah in his true form.
It depends if you, yourself, want to. Yuo are closer to angels than you think at most points in time when you need an angel to talk to, you must pray. THAT, is how I see it.Answer:"Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it." (Heb.13:2)
Jehovah's Witnesses do pray, but they have specific beliefs about prayer. They believe in praying directly to God, rather than through intermediaries like saints or angels. They also emphasize the importance of praying in line with God's will as revealed in the Bible.
the word angels is a mistranslation the word should be messenger The Bible teaches that we are to pray to God alone and does not properly belong to anyone else. Prayer in terms of worship is always in the Bible properly addressed to the one true God alone. (The word pray is also of course used in terms of a request) Since angels are only God's messengers and are created beings then prayer cannot be addressed to them. Prayer is also a form of worship as it involves addressing a higher power and it is certainly forbidden to worship angels, as indicated in the verse below. 8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
The Holy angels that stayed on God's side are sent on missions from God. Some have been messengers and some have ministered to God's people. Christians always pray to God and would never pray to an angel because angels are not God.

Catholic angels are spiritual beings believed to serve as messengers and guardians of God. They hold significant roles in Catholic beliefs and practices, symbolizing protection, guidance, and communication between humans and the divine. Catholics often pray to angels for intercession and seek their assistance in times of need. The presence of angels in Catholic teachings reinforces the belief in a higher power and the interconnectedness of the spiritual realm with the physical world.
