Does God know how each of us is going to die?

God knows everything.

In this time of the "firstfruits" of God's plan, His concern is with the ones whom He is "calling out" of the world... His "ekklesia" (His group, cadre, church)... the ones He has "predestined" to be born into the first generation of His future Family who will rule with Jesus Christ when He brings the Kingdom to the earth.

God "sanctifies" these people. He "sets them apart for Holy use" and reveals to them His plan and purpose.

It's these whom God foreknows their beginning and end... and He has so separated these from the rest of the world by a little thing called "repentance."

Jesus demonstrates it to us in The Bible through two events that had the peoples' tongues wagging:

"...there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galiieans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. Jesus answered, 'Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way? I tell you, no! But UNLESS YOU REPENT, YOU TOO WILL ALL PERISH.

"Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them - do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish.'" (Luke 13:1-3 NIV)

Repentance, is the difference between God entering one's life and having Him directing and guiding... and protecting one's life - and "gambling" with your life.

"...the race is not to the swift or the battle to the strong, nor does food come to the wise or wealth to the brilliant or favor to the learned; but TIME AND CHANCE HAPPEN TO THEM ALL." (Eccle.9:11 NIV)

The "first death" is appointed to all of us (Heb.9:27)... and while God can know how everyone in the world might die the first one if He really wanted to... unless a person is one He is personally calling, now, He's not concerned about it, now. Nor is it necessary for Him to know.

There is the "second death" that He will personally determine on Judgment Day when everyone's life's works shall be judged in accordance with His Word, the Bible. The "books" of the Bible will be opened: "... and each person was judged according to what he had done." (Rev.20:11-15 NIV)

It's not the "first death" from which Jesus saves us... but the "second" one.

"Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you into prison to test you... be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown of life... He who overcomes WILL NOT BE HURT AT ALL BY THE SECOND DEATH." (Rev.2:10-11 NIV)

God knows those who are His shall not die the "second death." These shall be raised from the dead and be gathered to Him when He returns - "...they came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years... THIS IS THE FIRST RESURRECTION. Blessed and holy are those who have part in the FIRST RESURRECTION. The SECOND DEATHhas no power over them." (Rev.20:4-6)

He knows how "His Children" will die the "first death." He knew how Jesus would die... and was there with Him - until the moment He took on all the sins of the world - and had to turn away.

He knew how Peter would be killed (the strongest of His saints don't just die - they are killed). But, again... He is with those who are His. He gives them understanding and the strength to face it. Paul, too, knew he was about to die... and the prophets.

But, He doesn't know yet who on Judgment Day will die the "second death" (that's what a "judgment" is for, to make that determination). He does know, however, HOW those who are judged incorrigibly wicked will die the "second death."

It's already written:

"The LAKE OF FIRE IS THE SECOND DEATH. If anyone's name was not found written in the Book of Life, HE WAS THROWN INTO THE LAKE OF FIRE." (Rev.20:14-15)
