The philosopher, Immanuel Kant attempted to show how philosophy could prove the existence of God. Kant rejected the ontological, teleological and cosmological arguments for the existence of God but held that God's existence is a necessary presupposition of there being any moral judgments that are objective, that go beyond mere relativistic moral preferences; such judgments require standards external to any human mind-that is, they presume God's mind.
This is a powerful point of view, but assumes that humans are incapable of morality unless God exists. If we reverse that argument, we find that Kant, having rejected the ontological, teleological and cosmological arguments, leaves us no good reason to believe in the existence of God.
In a modern democracy, no one can actually force us to assume the existence of God.
h. Immanuel Kant
I assume they believe in the existence of God.
Immanuel Kant's argument for the existence of God does not rely on the notion of perfection. Instead, Kant's argument is based on the moral necessity of God's existence as the guarantor of the moral order. Kant argues that belief in God is necessary for the coherence of moral philosophy and the possibility of moral action.
Rationality & religion don't mix.
She is Child of Living god......
God spoke into existence the universe
In his Kritik der reinen Vernunft Immanuel Kant intended to show that the pretensions of 'knowing reality' in general were groundless.Kant wrote that all our knowledge is relative to human perception and 'reasoning'. We 'see' reality as it appears to us through our senses (filters of perception) and 'thought'. So far Kant is defending 'cultural relativism'. Kant might have had 'moral' reasons to come to his tricky concluson: thereforethe only 'truth' is our selfmade 'truth'.Kant suggests that in the end only 1 selfmade 'truth' is behind 'human reality'. One might presume: 'rationalism', 'Kantian truth', christian logic..The Critique of Pure Reason should be understood as quasi mathematical description of a world based on Roman Christian supremacy (a priori). An a priori judgment is one whose truth is pure faith. Faith in 'rational' a priori is (inherently arrogant) called: 'understanding'apriori 1 used by the 'reasoning' Kant: God exists
Kant means that God's actions are not bound by moral commands or imperatives that apply to humans. God's will is not governed by ethical principles in the same way that human actions are.
An apatheist is a person who may or may not accept the existence of a god, but who does not care about the existence of that god.
The existence of a god does not necessarily mean that they seek forgiveness from you.
there are three definitions: # Of or relating to ontology. # Of or relating to essence or the nature of being. # Of or relating to the argument for the existence of God holding that the existence of the concept of God entails the existence of God.
