Jesus strongly discouraged divorce; however, in Matthew 5:32 and again in Matthew 19:9, Jesus names "fornication" (sexual immorality) as legitimate grounds for dissolving a marriage. That is an interesting question although not entirely clear. It seems that you want to punish the person who owed no duty to a marriage and protect the person who violated their marital obligation of fidelity. If you are referring to a husband who had an affair, his lover is not an "adulteress". When two people are married and one is unfaithful there is only one person in the marriage who has committed adultery. In some states it is still possible to sue a spouse's lover for "alienation of affection". However, that is hard to prove, you need hard evidence and the legal fees would be costly. Her attorney would call the "adulterer" as a witness. Also, your chances of being successful are slim. You need to consult with an attorney who can listen to the details of your situation and explain the laws and your options in your state. That is an interesting question although not entirely clear. At the very least it would be emotional unfaithful. There are different ways of being unfaithful. Many actions incorporate only one type of being unfaithful. Others include several of them. Some examples: mentally unfaithful - lusting after another person, viewing porn or going to strip clubs could be examples of this emotionally unfaithful - withholding intimate information from your partner but sharing with another person, saying "I love you" to another person - in a romantic sense (saying "Love you to your mom and giving her a peck on the cheek would not count - unless it was romantic, in which case - eww!) physically unfaithful - physical intimacy with another person Every one of these can destroy a relationship, but being physically unfaithful is usually the most devastating since it almost always also includes the other two
I don't thinks narcissists have been proven to be unfaithful in fact certain narcissists might pride themselves on being faithful in relationships. There are also different types of narcissists I'm not sure weather these types are officially recognized or not. and some may be more likely to be unfaithful than others.
