I am not speaking from certainty; I have read The Bible cover to cover but can't claim to remember all of it. But that sounds like a remarkably un-biblical concept. The bible does not emphasize liberty in and of itself as any kind of special virtue from a religious point of view. If anything, the bible would tend to emphasize a connection between liberty and pride. The bible is more likely to hold faith as much more important than liberty, and to teach that God is the source of any strength that people would need.
