Today's interpretation of "separation of church and state" implies that religion of any kind cannot be involved in any governmental entity, ceremony, or action. This implies that one's religion must be limited in the life of an individual. In that sense, "freedom of religion" - that is to say, the freedom to exercise one's religion over the lives of others - is hindered.
I believe that is the term - "Separation of Church and State".
No. That would contradict the separation of church and state and hinder religious freedom.
People should have the freedom to pick their own religion and not be forced to be what ever religion is mandated by the government.

There are absolutely no restrictions on the freedom of religion in the United States of America. Anyone who claims there are restrictions are wrong and seek to cloud the lawful separation of church and state.

Jefferson felt strongly that there had to be a separation of church and state. Without it there wouldn't be a freedom of religion. The history of the church run state is a long history of abuse.

No. There is a separation of church and state in the United States. This is on purpose in the constitution. Our founders had lived under a state mandated religion and made sure that we had a secular democracy and the freedom of religion.
In the United States, freedom of religion also includes freedom FROM religion. This is not the case in many other countries, and there are plenty of people in our own country who would dearly love to see the wall of separation of church and state crumble.
