Jesus' primary place of residence is at the right hand of the Father:Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. (Romans 8:34)Additionally, He and the Father are resident in the life of every believer/doer.Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. (John 14:23)Wherever there's a true believer in Jesus, Jesus is living there.
He humbled himself even unto death in order to do the will of his Father, and God has lifted up his name above all other names; therefore he is worthy to be King, because even the one God has lifted him up. What dose the bible say, they that do the will of God are his sons, and Jesus doing the will of God being tempted was killed, but God finding no fault in him, raised him from the dead seeing that he defied not God by disobeying, though he was tempted. Jesus said, I do always the will of my Father which is in Heaven.
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (John 14.8,9)

(1) He will deliver his kingdom to God the Father "..... Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to God the Father after destroying every rule and every authority and power." (1 Corinthians Ch 15)(2) "The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, and throw them into the furnace of fire; there men will weep and gnash their teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear."(Matthew Ch 13)
