First you must ask yourself "What is the difference between Holy Ghost and Holy Spirit ?" They are both the same. Now if you read in John 4:24 it says...God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. KJV

The Bible also tells us that God is Holy 1 Peter 1:16 "Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." KJV

Thus answers that not only God is a Holy Ghost but is the Holy Ghost/Spirit (it's interchangeable)

Is the anointing different from holy ghost?

The Hebrew word used for anointing is mimshack which means to rub. In the old testament, the presence of God rubbed God's people. But in the new testament, the Holy Ghost has come to dwell in every believer of the gospel. So the Holy Ghost brings God's presence. Now anointing (power of God) is the fruit of His presence. Therefore anointing is certainly not different from Holy Ghost.
