A:Appearances of Jesus have been rare since apostolic times. A Catholic pilot did photograph a natural formation that, with a little imagination, does look like the face of a man, and saw that face to be none other than that of Jesus.

Claims that the virgin Mary has appeared have been far more common, always in a Catholic milieu and usually in poor rural environments.

It would seem to be generally accepted that Jesus has not appeared to anyone in recent centuries. Whether, instead, the virgin Mary has appeared to anyone is a matter of faith only.
